  • Shipping & Deliveries

    All orders are shipped from Tanzania, East Africa.

    DHL is our shipping partner; the international flat rate is $25

    We offer FREE tracked shipping on all orders over $300 USD international destinations

    *not included furniture

    For our made-to-order items, it’s around one to three weeks to bring it to life; once its ready., Iit will be shipped in 1-3 days (depending on the production and stock). For example: do we need to tie dye the fabric for making your orders? If yes, it may take two additional weeks. We will aim to inform you of any significant delays to avoid disappointment.

    DHL international promises to deliver the parcel around 7 days internationally.

  • Tracking

    All orders are shipped with a tracking number, you will receive it by email 1-2 business days after we send it. From that point forward, you will receive email updates as your order makes the journey to your doorstep. Once a parcel has been marked as 'delivered' by the courier via tracking MLIMA assumes no responsibility for any lost or stolen goods.

  • Refund & Return

    Refunds will be issued if the items return safety to Tanzania by your own expense.

    For all international orders, if your shipment is refused or not picked up it will not be shipped back to Tanzania and a refund will not be issued.

    ** We do not issue refunds or re-send orders for incorrect addresses, refused shipments or shipments that are not picked up by the receiver. Please note that if you refuse/not pick up your shipment the parcel will not be sent back to MLIMA Designs.

    Unfortunately, we cannot cover the cost of returns, unless the item is damaged or faulty. We are happy to repair your sewn item if there is repairable damage within the first 2 months.

  • Exchanges

    We offer free exchanges for East Africa & South Africa customers by your own shipping expense. We will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of the original delivery date. Exchanges received outside of this timeline won’t be accepted.

    We cannot offer exchanges for customized made-to-order garments, but we can offer alterations. If in doubt, always go up a size.

  • Duties

    Certain countries charge customs duties on clothing parcels,; if this is the case you will be informed and billed by the courier on delivery. MLIMA doesn’t take responsibility for any of these costs. If you have concerns about duties by your receiving country, you can email us to see if we've had experience of customers reporting to pay duties at this destination.
